Studio Services

I have built a home based recording studio over the last few years that has the ability to produce sound close to the quality that you might spend millions for at a professional, high budget studio. I have spent years researching the best equipment and made my investments wisely. My garage has once again been converted into a top quality project studio capable of serious audio and video production. At our current lab, we are proud to have a full 8' X 10' mic room that houses a Neumann large body condenser mic with shock mount. The mic connects (with a Mogami cable) to a real solid state tube preamp by Universal Audio which is connected (also by Mogami cable) to our firewire MOTU 828 Mk II that is run by the Xeon processor quad core Mac Pro (running 5 GB of fully buffered RAM). Our talk back mic is controlled by our 36 channel desk mixer and we have an assortment of top quality headphones and studio monitors to listen to powered by Onkyo. For writing, we have a full digital drum set with Roland V-Drum head that works wonderfully with Logic Pro. We also have an 81 key controller with sustain pedal and several other smaller controllers (some with pads) to choose from. We have several hardware sound processors, a 10 channel headphone splitter, and countless digital effects so we never find ourselves short of new sounds. We also have a Les Paul style guitar with a special MIDI pickup that allows guitar players to play different voices using the guitar. We have a 5 string bass and Sans Amp DI box. We also have an assortment of 20 different microphones for recording drums, horns, bass, amps or just about anything that the job calls for. We have a full drum set, djembe and misc. other percussion that we can take out and record. We have 2 Vestax Pro turntables and a Vestax 06 mixer next to a Denon CD turntable and Vestax 05 mixer. We use the latest versions of Logic Studio, Final Cut Studio, Reason and related software. We have a comfortable environment to work in and learn.
